Aaron Services are the gas contractor for MTVH
I contacted Aaron Services as the pressure on my boiler had dropped and the radiators wouldn’t come on. Ben explained that I could increase the pressure by removing a plate on the boiler (with a key) and turning the boiler pressure clockwise with the key (see video below):
Above: Ben, Aaron Services demonstrating boiler plate removal, location of pressure key, unlocking the pressure gauge, turning it clockwise so that it stabilises between 1 and 2 on the dial, then locking it, replacing the plate.
Below: Ben unlocking the pressure gauge: (the pressure is already back to normal this was a repeat for the camera(!))

Above: Ben, Aaron Services increasing the pressure (it had already been done, this is just so that yu can see where the key should go the pressure valve and the lock are next to each other on the underside of the boiler).

Ben was trained by British Gas then worked for a boiler company before becoming self employed for twelve years He tried IT as a career but missed the use of his skills and the customer contact and now works for Aaron Services (now part of Sureserve PLC (companies in the group are Sureserv, Aaron Services, Everwarm, Providor, Sure Maintenance, K+T Heating as well as H2O Nationwide, Precision Lifts, Sure Maintenance), Sureserve PLC employ 2800 people throughout the UK. Aaron are heating and plumbing specialists working in the Midlands
During his career Ben has become really aware of the need to educate people about the engineering aspect of plumbing and heating, that the quality of work makes a real difference to the longevity of a boiler.
Aaron educate customers through the knowledge and experience of their plumbers and engineers. Ben thinks he engineering side of plumbing and heating has become more and more relevant.
It made me realise that if we want to solve insulation, damp, heating, cost, pollution, climate and employment issues we need to educate each other, help each other and learn with each other.
If we want a quality of life and environment then we’re all the British Standards we want to see!
