In 2024 let’s commit our governments to consent to peace. Let’s have a government that represents neighbourhoods, builds green jobs in the cities, so many people can walk to work, let’s reduce car pollution (UN emissions day is 26th Jan 2024) and in every organisation let’s use tech to reduce excessive bureaucracy and unnecessary rules so we feel that what we do relates to the way we think and feel about people, neighbourhood, community. Let’s commit our thoughts and ideas to the £37,000 (Lifelong Learning Entitlement) the government has promised every adult over their lifetime for personal and skill development through education. Let’s take the time to find out about what it could mean for our staff and their families, let’s talk about it.
As with the longstanding Cooperative College campaign to encourage adults to learn, we need to keep on building and sharing our knowledge with more people, more of the time.
